I've been sayng for a long time that you need to treat every moment as if it were precious. You never know how many more moments you have on this planet, with this person, or in this location. Life can change on a dime. One moment you are married. The next moment you find out that is now changing. One moment you are employed. The next moment you are not. One moment you are healthy (at least you believe yourself to be), the next moment you are not. And it just continues. Life changes. Unexpected things come your way. How you handle them defines you, makes or breaks you. My dad has cancer. We just found out on Monday. Once again I find myself in new territory. What does it mean? How will things change? I've been thinking for awhile that it was time to head back to the East Coast - at least for a short period of time. My parents are getting older and I want my son to get to spend more time with them. Recently I've been reconnecting with so many people from my past - people who live on the east coast. Some of them live in the same town where my parents live. So I have a network of friends there already. I'm sure many of you find yourself in a similar situation. You know, absolutely, that a year from now your life will look entirely different than it does now. Yet you don't know exactly what it will look like. You don't know exactly where you will be living, what you will be doing, or who you will be doing it with. And for most people that is quite unsettling. Hang in there. You are definitely not alone. This time is about trusting that all is as it should be. That you will be guided about what to do and where to go. My desire is that you become empowered to regain your own magnificence by reading about my journey, experiences, and insights. May you be blessed in the radiance of The One. May you find peace, joy, and upliftment in the words and energies that accompany this message. Take a slow deep breath. Focus on your heart and give thanks for this moment. Here we go . . . Connecting with NatureI love the sun. It was so beautiful yesterday that I sat outside - briefly anyway - in a sleeveless shirt and just drank in the rays. Before you jump all over me and talk about the evils of sunshine, let me say this. Sunshine is vital. It is vital for plants. It is vital for you. Without it, your body does not produce vitamin D - necessary for good health. I'm not talking about hours in the sun. I'm talking about a few minutes every day. Anything done in excess is out of balance and is not healthy. If you stay out so long that you burn, that is definitely excess. Winter drives me crazy. I got very spoiled living in Texas and California and enjoying being outside year round. I really don't enjoy being stuck inside the house for months. So every time it's a little warm, I'm outside for awhile. How about you? Do you long for sunshine and more hours of sunlight. I know I do. I have something else going on with the sun though. When I do the Seed of Divine Restoration long distance energy healing sessions, I'm actually working with a seed of light (like a star or sun). When I got a copy of the Mayan Oracle and read the first 10 pages of the book, it went through a list which included the words "sun runner." When I saw those words, it brought tears to my eyes. I have no idea what it means to be a sun runner, but it definitely resonated with me. What aspects of nature resonate strongly with you? - Flowers, streams, a particular animal or plant, big boulders, waterfalls, thunder, lightening, caves, lakes, or meadows. If I ask you to remember the most beautiful nurturing location in nature that you have ever been to, what do you see? You should go to that place in your mind as often as possible. It is a place that will quiet your mind, help you de-stress, and assist you in gaining clarity. Whenever you think of this place, really visualize it in your mind, and experience it with as many senses as possible, it is the perfect place for prayer and meditation. You should also physically visit this location, or something similar, whenever you can. Sometimes We Forget What We Already KnowI homeschool my 10-year old son, Jess. We've been doing most of his school work on line. He had been struggled with reading. Every time we would sit down in front of the computer to do the school work, he got really distracted, twitchy even. He was in the living room reading something with no problem whatsoever and I though, "Why does he have so much trouble online?" Then it occurred to me that maybe he is as sensitive to electromagnetics as I am. I happened to have a brand new BioElectric Shield still in the box. His overall mood - not just school related - has improved significantly. Even he can't believe how "well these things work." I'm kicking myself for not realizing it sooner. I shared this story with Carolyn Nau, one of my good friends from the BioElectric Shield Company. This was her reply: "This is one of those shoemaker's kids stories. when I have my Shield on. Well done. Love and hugs," Sometimes We Forget Who We Are and What We Are DoingDo you ever feel sidetracked by life? Sometimes family, work, a new project or hobby, your health, your finances, your friends, your home, or something else, take up so much of your time that your priorities get a little jumbled. Sometimes new things like people, ideas, or businesses seem to take you down a a different trail. Sometimes unexpected life changes force you to look at your priorities and either get back on track or make new decisions. For example, as I mentioned earlier, I found out that my dad has Cancer. That is definitely an unexpected life change. Being in the middle of divorce involves another life change. Planning to move is another big life change. I often talk about the "metaphysical 2 x 4 up side the head." It is my way of describing those moments when you feel whacked off course by life. I'm not sure you are being whacked off course. I think sometimes you are being whacked so you will pay attention and get back on course. I'm being inspired with so much new information coming through, that I occasionally forget which way I'm heading. After a trip in November to Florida connecting with the sea, I received the words and images for a video. It is all about Joy. You'll be seeing it soon I'm sure. Soon after that, I got the entire outline for a new book - advanced dolphin spirals. Sort of the advanced version of Freeway to Freedom. Anyway, with so many changes, so many new things, I'm finding myself questioning my priorities. My son is definitely a priority. Getting out of New Mexico is definitely a priority. But in business, do I update my current work with the new things I'm being inspired to add and change, write the new book, put together the new workshop, or something else. I can't do it all - at least not all at once. So things feel jumbled. Sometimes that happens when you are getting new information but the entire picture has not yet been revealed. That feels like where I am right now. And maybe I have to move to get true clarity. Living in the home you shared with someone else when that relationship is over or has changed as mine has, is never a good idea. Everything there reminds you of them. And when things are over one typically doesn't want to be reminded - even subconsciously - about the other person all the time. For some people they would constantly be reminded of what might have been. For others they would be constantly reminded of what failed or was very painful. Either way, my advice to others has always been to GET OUT! So I'm needing to take some of my own advice. And the sooner the better in my opinion. Of course its February and spring is right around the corner. I'm always very very anxious to get on with life about now. Get me out of the house and outside. Let me start a new project or move or do something else very positive and heading in some new direction. I'll let you know where I end up and what I end up doing.
