What an amazing time we are in. Big changes in relationships,
careers, locations, and more.
We are all being given the opportunity to rise above our
circumstances and remember who we are - a child of God, a
divine spark living a human existence.
We are going along doing our life and suddenly wham - we
are hit with something totally unexpected. We are getting
to experience situations and people that really shake things
up. We are being given the opportunity to throw off the limitations
we've been living under, to set boundaries with what is and
isn't O.K., to rethink our priorities, to stand up for ourselves
and the life we desire, to let go of and heal things we thought
we had already handled.
A good friend had a very unexpected turn of events recently.
She is a delightful lady, a ball of light, and its very uplifting
to just be around her. But, just like the rest of us, she's
still learning lessons and having to get over her "stuff."
In her younger years she got pregnant and the parents of the
father of her child to be took her to an abortion clinic to
- well - rid everyone of this problem. She had the baby anyway
and has harbored hatred towards these people ever since.
She and her now teenage daughter were having lunch at a restaurant
the other day and she saw this older couple that she recognized.
It suddenly dawned on her who they were. She told her daughter
that those people over there were her grandparents. The daughter
went over and introduced herself. She received a very warm
welcome. My friend laughed realizing she was going to have
to forgive them after all these years.
You can run, but you can never hide, from the things you've
tried to ignore. They are still there for you to address.
And many of them are up for review right now.
My desire is that you become empowered to regain your own
magnificence by reading about my journey, experiences, and
insights.
May you be blessed in the radiance of The One. May you find
peace, joy, and upliftment in the words and energies that
accompany this message.
Take a slow deep breath. Focus on your heart and give thanks
for this moment.

I Encourage You to Be Passion
"Gravitation cannot be held responsible
for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in
terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon
as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it
seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour
and it seems like a minute. That's relativity."
- Albert Einstein
What a great observation from such a wise man.
Falling in love
It changes things. It changes your perspective. It changes
your life. It enhances your observation skills. It enhances
your mood.
But you don't have to "fall in love" with a person
- although that can be mighty invigorating!
You can get that feeling of first falling in love through
many doorways. You can "fall in love" with a career.
You can "fall in love" with the people you spend
time with and the activities you do together. You can "fall
in love" with a project you are working on.
It's a feeling. It's a state of being. I love the word Rapture.
But that one is highly misunderstood. Several words are like
that - love, God, rapture. What I mean when I say those words
is not necessarily the same thing that you mean when you say
them.
Rapture
My definition is calm elation, that feeling that all is well.
It is much more than just being content though. It has life.
You feel uplifted and energized by it. You are simply overcome
- almost overwhelmed - by this euphoria and joy that you can't
really explain. It's as if you have suddenly become sunshine.
It happens for me quite often. It's an energy, a state of
being, that I often experience.
The energy is called The Holy Spirit in the bible. It is
also known as Shakinah. According to Wikipedia - "The
Talmud reports that the Shekhinah is what caused prophets
to prophesy and King David to compose his Psalms. The Shekhinah
manifests itself as a form of joy, connected with prophecy
and creativity." - It is something that I tap into -
or more accurately am enveloped in - when I write or when
I lead groups or wokshops. It often happens when I do energy
work with others.
It can happen for lots of reasons - the easiest is by connecting
with the Divine Presence both within yourself and also outside
yourself. The Divine Presence (God) is everywhere and it takes
awhile to really "know" that it is both within and
without. Most religions and spiritual practices look at one
or the other.
But you don't have to be a monk living off on a mountain
some place meditating for hours a day to reach that state
of Nirvana.
It can happen in the twinkling of an eye. It can happen in
the presence of someone dear. It can happen in the middle
of the grocery store.
Passion - the fuel of life. You need it to accomplish your
dreams. You need it to stay healthy. You need it to give life
meaning. You need it to feel alive. You need it to have others
find you interesting.
Passion
Although Albert was talking about passion in a romantic sense,
it has much broader application.
- Are you passionate about what you do?
- Are you passionate about your friends?
- Are you passionate about your relationship?
- Are you passionate about anything?
The most vibrantly alive and youthful people I know all seem
to have one thing in common. They all exhibit passion. They
are engaged in life.
You may have a different opinion, but I don't think I look
like I'll be 50 in 2 years. I certainly don't feel like it.
My friends laugh at me when I get all "jazzed up"
about something. I speak louder and faster, I get very animated
and I begin to almost bubble over with joy. I tell lots of
stories. I laugh. I'm fun to be around.
Why?
Because I'm really passionate about whatever is being discussed.
I encourage you to be the passionate one.
If you want your life to improve, you must regain your passon.

Much of what I share on Facebook is about friendship, playfulness,
and reconnecting with old friends. Sometimes it involves insight
and inspiration like this:
"Some people review the past with great fondness - considering
it the best time of their life - wishing they were still "back
there." Others review the past and look at only the painful
memories. They are thrilled that it is over. The truth is,
as in every day and every moment, there are things that happen
that we like and others that we don't like. Which we choose
to focus on, is entirely up to us. If joy is a priority, then
you know which you must choose!"
"... Love isn't logical - 1st Corinthians 13. - whether
it be romantic love or love of humanity as a whole. O.K. I'm
hugely paraphrasing - it has no boundaries, it is ageless,
timeless, expansive and all inclusive. You either love, or
you do not. You either care, or you do not. You either believe
you are here for a greater purpose than to just experience
your own small life, or you do not. You have either successfully
married your heart and your mind, or you have not. You either
follow your "heart knowing" or "inspiration,"
regardless of logic, or you do not. Love, that type of love,
is beyond words and it brings you great joy. It is a state
of being - a place of knowing. Illogical - often. Dillusional
- probably. The only "place" I ever want to be -

Prayer
You don't have to believe in prayer, understand prayer, or
even "practice" prayer.

Because you are praying every moment of every day. Whatever
you think or do, is your prayer to the Almighty. And the more
you raise your vibration, heal the past, begin to resonate
faster at a higher level of consciousness - the faster those
prayers manifest in your life.
Words
have power.
Seriously!
- Are you praying gossip?
- Are you praying anger?
- Are you praying consciously at all?
And that 10-fold payback thing is not just about money. It
is what happens with everything you "give" - be
it praise, money, criticism, kindness, or ill will. It comes
back to you greatly magnified. Learn more about this in my

What's On Sale
It's hard to set boundaries and take back your power when
you have people in your life that disempower you. Many people
give way more than they receive. They do a million things
for others because for some goofy reason they believe that
just being who they are isn't enough to cause others to love
them. So they give and give and give - rarely saying no -
and rarely getting back any appreciation for all they do.
Guess what, there are people all over the place that will
take and take and take without giving anything back. They
almost prey on the givers.
As my dear friend, Millie, would say: "It's time to
reclaim the seniority of your space." It's time to figure
out what you need and align with those desires so the universe
can bring them to you.
But you can't do that if you feel undeserving. You can't
do that if you feel you have to "do" anything to
deserve or receive love and appreciation.
You have to love and accept yourself before others can. You
have to feel good about who you are. You have to know who
you are and what you desire. And you have to know you deserve
to receive the good things in life.
