It has been awhile since you have heard from me. My life
is in overdrive at the moment with new projects, teaching
classes, cub scouts, homeschooling, planning a 30-year high
school reunion, and a new and fabulous romance.
Thankfully the reunion will be over in another week and a
half. Wow what a job that turned out to be. It was really
fun in the finding everyone stage. It became a lot of work
when it turned into keeping track of who paid, who hasn't,
making a video, printing and mailing invitations, etc. The
payoff has been grand though. So, no more complaints from
me!

Every now and then someone comes into your life that really
touches you at a very deep level. Marina, her mom Suzanne,
Kenny, they all have shown up very recently and I feel infinitely
blessed for having them as part of my world.
Marina is an amazing young woman. She was born with many
psychic / spiritual gifts that are now re-awakening. Her story
is one of triumph over tragedy - and I just love those. I
believe that anyone who has gone through what she has deserves

Radford Cheerleader Wins National Award Despite All
Odds
"We're sorry to have to inform you that your daughter
has been trampled." Those were the words Marina William's
mother heard 3 years ago.
They were living in New York City. An overcrowded, under supervised
lunch room with several hundred teenagers lead to one person's
high jinks causing a stampede ...with only one small exit
that lead to four flights of stairs. During the hysteria,
Marina was slammed head first into a wall and knocked unconcious...she
fell down, and was trampled by approximately 400 students.
She woke up in the hospital with a concussion, brain damage,
T-spine fracture, wedge compression fracture in the t- spine,
her c spine was curved the opposite direction, broken leg,
ankle, muscles around her ribs were torn and the ribs were
bruised, and more. No one knew the full extent of her injuries
or what the next 2 1/2 years would be like for her.
She went through 2 years of intensive rehabilitation which
included many forms of complementary medicine such as acupuncture.
She still works to improve her post traumatic memory loss
disorder and constantly works at "rewiring" the
circuits her brain needs to make connections for school work,
memorization, focus, etc. Her shoulders and ankles continue
to be a source of repeat injuries.
Now, three years later, she is the 1st All American Cheerleader
at Radford High School in 6 years. It is a great honor and
quite a profound accomplishment considering her physical condition
just months before.
As an All American Cheerleader she is invited to London to
march in the New Years' Day Parade there. Unfortunately, she
has to fund her own trip which is costing $3,000. Radford
head coach Mr. Wade talked to the Boosters association to
try to get funding, but they said they often sponsor teams,
but not individuals, so she is getting no financial support
there.
She has successfully raised the first half of the funds herself.

we did in class.

Great Discount on Health Food Products
Now that I'm living on the east coast, I'm constantly reminded
of what people don't know about nutrition.
I watch people buy soda in large cups and suck them down
all day. I also watch in even greater horror as they suck
down diet drinks.
Man - what a terrible way to treat the temple that is your
body.
Soft drinks are one of the greatest problems in health today.
Not only is there enough sugar in there to turn your bloodstream
into syrup, but the ingredients in them cause your body to
be very very acid. Which, if you study anything about being
healthy, you know is a breeding ground for dis-ease. In fact,
dis-ease is practically impossible to accomplish if your body
is the proper pH. Cancer happens in an acid environment. So
do many other life threatening conditions. So the worst thing
you can add to your diet is something that causes your pH
to be acid. Stress alone will do that for you.
I can preach this lesson because I've lived it. I used to
be the soft drink poster girl. I had 8 to 10 cans a day when
I was in college. Just ask me about my health - it was terrible.
My immune system was practically non-existent. Allergies were
off the richter scale. I had to sleep all the time. Had no
energy whatsoever. And I was grumpy. Nice!
I started craving a particular brand of diet soda during
my pregnancy. Bad bad bad. And I eventually succumbed to the
temptation. I began to drink 1 20-oz. bottle every single
day. That little ritual took about 7 years to stop. Very addicting.
Very very bad for you.
The sweetener used in diet drinks has been proven to cause
short term memory loss. Who needs help forgetting things?
One of my friends shared a story about his mother. She stopped
drinking soft drinks and instantly dropped 12 pounds. So,
what does that tell you?

Be Careful What You Ask For - Your Passion Could Engulf
You in Flames!
I had no idea what I was calling in when I set out on this
little journey.
As I reflect back on all the crazy twists and turns that
have happened over the last year or so, I am amazed and in
awe of the things that have occurred. I am harvesting the
bounty of what I sowed and tended to over the past several
years.
And as I told my sweetheart over dinner last night, I'm almost
afraid to write about it.
But how will you find the hope and trust needed for your
own life to be filled with miracles and dreams coming true
if you don't have the opportunity to see that in the lives
of others. I have agreed to share with you my miracles, and
hardships, so you can learn from them. In that light, the
things happening in my life right now need to be communicated
and shared.
I've talked a lot about passion of late. And you know that
whatever you focus on, you draw to yourself.
If you focus on negative things, you get more negative things
happening in your life. If you focus on positive things and
being in gratitude, you experience more things in life to
be grateful for.
I've recently been run over by passion. I've also manifested
good things related to friendship and career.
It has often been said that it's the little decisions that
make all the difference - not the really big ones. That has
absolutely been true relative to the things that are going
so well for me right now. It's the tiny little decisions,
almost afterthoughts, that I've made that caused all the good
stuff to be happening right now in romance, career, and friendship.
It took a heck of a lot of following those little inner promptings
from that still small voice within. You can call it intuition.
You can call it God. You can call it your Higher Self. Whatever
you call it or however you relate to it, it is this inner
knowing that is my guiding light. When I follow it, great
things happen. When I do not, things are usually a disaster.
So now, 30 years later, I'm back where I started. Of course
who I am is a much wiser, happier, more fulfilled person.
But much is the same as it was 30 years ago.
Some of my friends have changed. Some people I thought were
friends, it turns out they were not - or at least they aren't
any more. Some I thought were enemies have turned out to be
good friends. And I've added several new ones to the mix.
It was just a whim that started a friendship with someone
I had not been friends with previously. It was just a little
nudge from within to do something nice for someone. Not a
big thing. In fact, it was a pretty tiny thing. But it opened
a doorway for something much greater.
How often do we have doors that are closed to us, or at least
we think that they are, and with the tiniest little word or
action (inspired from within of course), the gates are opened
and we are asked to sit as the honored guest at the table.
It happens all the time if you will only let it!
But you have to be willing to take an action or say something
that is not exactly comfortable. It is sometimes an action
or a word that you aren't really sure how it will be received
by the other. So, you are sometimes risking rejection by saying
or doing it.
I've learned over many years that if I am being prompted
to do it by that still small voice, my inner knowing, that
it comes out better than I ever expected. In fact, I can't
remember a time when that wasn't true.
Back in high school, lies and misunderstandings messed up
what could have been a truly great relationship. How it ever
got as far as it did is still beyond me. But there was this
guy. His name was Kenny. He was captain of the football team.
His girlfriend was a cheerleader - of course. And somehow
we ended up seeing each other a lot. He would come over to
"study" and we would kiss for hours. This went on
for quite some time. I'm not sure how it got started, but
miraculously it did.
His kiss stirred up such emotion, such passion, such an overwhelming
set of feelings that it literally made me dizzy. I've never
felt that with anyone else - ever. Not with my ex husband.
Not with former boyfriends or fiance's. No-one.
When you are young and terrified of rejection, you fail to
ask some pretty basic questions like "do you like me?"
Or, "If you like me, why are you with her?" Or "If
you like me, why are you with him?"
We never asked those questions - not of each other anyway.
So I assumed I wasn't his girlfriend because I wasn't a cheerleader
and I wasn't as pretty as what's her name. He assumed he wasn't
my boyfriend because someone had told him that I was still
seeing this other guy and he believed the story. The story
was false. But what we believe has much more impact on us
than whatever the truth is. We were both feeling all these
feelings and feeling rejected by each other at the same time.
So we went our separate ways.
And then, 30 years later, I asked the Universe for a particular
set of attributes in a relationship.
You can't have exactly what it is that you want if you are
still harboring wounds from the past in that area of your
life. When you've loved and lost as many times as I have,
there are a fair amount of wounds. And the feelings of rejection
are still there anchored in cellular memory. Well you certainly
can't draw in the relationship you desire - and keep it -
if that piece hasn't been handled.
So I began revisiting some painful relationships - just as
Finally Free was in the incubation period before it came forth
into this reality.
Over the course of the past year I've shared with you these
crazy stories about boyfriends of old. Each one a painful
memory. Each one a deep wound stemming from feeling rejected
requiring some attention. So I engaged the person, and the
feelings, once more in order to let them heal and fall away.
Which they have all done beautifully.
And then there's Kenny. Oh my goodness!
Way back when, it was almost a whim that the conversations
started with Suzen and Wayne about a 30-year reunion here
in Radford. Conversations with them lead to conversations
with others and now in less than 2 weeks the reunion will
be a reality.
What started out as an idea is coming to fruition in the
tangible world. With caterers and pumpkin festivals, tours
of the school and a DJ, 60 to 70 some people are gathering
for an event. To remember. To discover how we have changed
and how we have stayed the same.
As I went about looking for people from our class, lots of
people had seen Kenny, but no-one knew how to contact him.
Three or four people said they see him often and promised
to tell him about the reunion the next time they saw him.
But 3 or 4 weeks after saying this to me, they would report
that they still hadn't seen him. This went on for months.
Somewhere in the middle of all of this I felt this little
inner nudge to return to Virginia - so Jess could be with
his grandparents, so I could begin again now that I was divorced.
Finally, the day I was doing the mail merge to send out the
invitations, I had this little whim of a thought to add to
the database all the addresses we had for the reunion 9 years
ago. So if there were people we hadn't yet found, we would
at least be sending an invitation to them and maybe it would
get to a few.
A couple of days after the invitations were mailed, I got
a phone call from Kenny. The old address had worked and now
here he was on the phone. He offered me a ride on his Harley.
Eye yeh yeh! I politely declined.
A few days later I got an email asking if I would like to
get together for a drink. I said sure. The invitation was
soon upgraded to the sharing of a meal. On my way there I
suddenly said to myself, "I'm in trouble" with a
knowing little smirk on my face. He later told me that as
he watched me walking across the parking lot, he said to himself,
"I'm in trouble." On some deep level we both knew
that seeing each other was opening the floodgates and we probably
couldn't stop it even if we wanted to.
We had a lovely evening sharing stories, finding out what
the other had been up to for 30 years. And then he looked
at me and said something about the fact that we used to kiss
all the time. And he asked me if I'd like to kiss him now
- or something like that. So I kissed him. And all that crazy
stuff came back - the feelings, the emotions, the passion,
all of it. Yes, I was very definitely in trouble - in a truly
wonderful way!
Little whimsical thoughts: to do a high school reunion, to
send the invitations to an old address, to ask me for a kiss.
They can make all the difference.
Those little inner prompting are there all the time for you.
All you have to do is listen and find the courage to follow
your dreams.

Much of what I share on Facebook is about friendship, playfulness,
and reconnecting with old friends. Sometimes it involves insight
and inspiration like this:
I was asking if anyone knew what my new vanity license plate
meant. It says JOYWVR. A few people guessed correctly. It
stands for Joy Weaver - for Joy Weavers International, my
newest project. They wanted to know more, so this was my response:

Made from Mountain Laurel growing in a truly sacred and magical
location. I added to the bowl butterfly wings from 2 different
butterflies. These "gifts" of nature I found while
hiking in Virginia. The bowl was placed in the sun sitting
on top of a pile of feathers numbering over 100. This new
Essence of Freedom was then synergistically blended with Core
Issues, Essence of Fairie, Point of Origin and a few more
very special energies. The aromatherapy is Frankincense.
After Kenny and I started seeing one another, there was much
more "fire" in my life. All the grids used to make
Dancing Dolphin Essences had to be upgraded to match my new
frequency.
In addition to me personally holding and praying over every
single bottle literally pulling down light into each of them,
I place each bottle in an extremely elaborate multi-layered
series of grids that contains hundreds of crystals, gems,
symbols, 3-dimensional sacred geometric energy devices and
more.
For years I've collected stones from all over the world.
Places I've lived. Ones gathered by friends from foreign lands.
I have lava rocks from Abique, New Mexico, where Georgia
O'Keefe created much of her world renowned art, and from Santorini,
Greece. I have sparkly stones flecked with mica from Sipapu,
New Mexico and Palomar Mt., California.
The special energy at Sipapu is where Stuart Wilde wrote
his Taos Quintet and specifically the energy he spent a whole
book describing in The Quickening. It is also where I "brought
in" (channeled, received, was inspired with) the technologies
in Freeway to Freedom. It is a very magical energy and sparkly
rocks always assist in connecting with fairies.
Palomar Mt. California is a very sacred mountain and more
UFO sightings happened there than in any other place on earth
up until the early 80's.
My home on the mountain literally was sitting on a vortex.
We watched a compass spin around and around when held over
my chair at the kitchen table. That home is where Jess was
conceived and the first series of Dancing Dolphin Essences
were created from the wildflowers growing nearby. It is also
where I was inspired with the original upgrade process to
infuse sound into the bottles.
I had enough rocks matching in size and vibration from each
of the locations to make a medicine wheel out of each kind
containing at least 8 stones. So now, in my multi-layered
grid system there are wheels within wheels. And the addition
of the lava rocks has added an entirely new "layer"
to the alchemy of Dancing Dolphin Essences.
Oh yes, and now every Dancing Dolphin Essence contains a
frequency of Diamonds - not as strong as the diamond energy
in the Diamond kit, but diamond frequency nonetheless.
The alchemy continues to evolve as I do . . .
Finally free is about freeing yourself from limitations of
all kinds. If you are an angel or fairie or any other form
of winged creature - or at least some aspect of you is anyway
- it helps you unbind your wings and fly - to achieve your
dreams, to move forward as never before. For some people,
including me, some limited paradigm stuff had to be revisited
while using it in order to finally be free. I felt the fear
of potential rejection and the fear of a parent's disapproval
during this process.
I recommend you place it on all chakras twice a day for several
weeks.
And I suggest you use the technologies in Freeway to Freedom
to release the junk that surfaces. It can work its way out
on it's own. It will just happen significantly faster with
the spiral technologies in Freeway to Freedom.
