Sorry you haven't heard from me in a while.

I just got back from a whirlwind weekend at this year's INATS (International new Age Trade Show).

Lots of changes for us these days. Raven moved to Tesuque, New Mexico recently. He can be reached on his cell (505) 455-0370.

It is exciting and empowering to head out into a whole new direction. At the same time it is sad in the ending of the old. Our oldest dog also died last week. So there are lots of endings - and beginnings - occuring for us.

Have you been feeling the need to let go of something? An old relationship? A job that is not serving you? People everywhere are changing the way their life looks. It is a very empowering time.

I've included the latest message from Karen Bishop. I feel she has done a great job of explaining not only what is happening for us, but for many during these crazy new times.

May you be blessed in the radiance of the One. May you find joy, inspiration, and upliftment in these words.

Close your eyes for a moment. Take a few slow deep breaths and center yourself. Allow the Divine loving energy of your Higher Self and Guides to use this communication to assist you. Feel the loving, joy-filled, healing energy being poured into you and your world in this moment.

Getting to Truly Know Things

Several experts have mentioned recently that it takes 10 years to really know (understand - be one with) anything.

One person in particular wanted to know how long I'd been making Dancing Dolphin Essences. When I answered, "10 years," they were very pleased and knew that I truly understood energy medicine - flower essences, gem essences, aromatherapy, dolphin healing, divine light, sound healing - all the things that go into Dancing Dolphin Essences and Magnificent Aromatherapy Roll-Ons.

So I've reviewed what it is that I truly know - especially in light of the recent changes in my life.

Each thing you've done for 10 years or more is a form of apprenticeship or initiation. Some are fun and you chose them - like a career path or job choice. Others are things that seem to be thrust upon you like poverty, illness, or physical and emotional abuse. I view those things to be what you have come to understand. Once you have healed them for yourself, you can help others from a place of "knowing."

What I've spent at least 10 years getting to know, understand, become one with:

- marriage

- parenting (less than 6 months to go)

- industrial engineering

- web design, promotion, and optimization

- authoring books and articles

- energy healing

- healing power of crystals

- dolphin healing energetics

- healing past trauma and fear

- flower essences and other energy elixirs

- aromatherapy

- hands-on healing

- channeling insight and energy

- Pleiadians and Arcturians

- the energetics of camelot/avalon

- shamanism

- New Mexico and the American Southwest

- intuitive insight into what a person needs to hear most right now

- becoming empowered on all levels

- dowsing

- clearing people and the environment of disharmonious energies (cords and attachments, energy vampires, curses, though projections, sorcery, and the like)

- illness (thank heavens that one is complete)

I'm sure there are more things I "know." This is just what comes to mind immediately.

What have you done or experienced for 10 years or more?

This is your personal list of power skills. Honor them and ask the Universe to assist you in figuring out how to use those skills for the betterment of mankind.

Homeschooling: An “Insider’s” Perspective on a Highly Misunderstood Choice

It is always amusing to watch someone’s expression change when I mention that I homeschool my 9-year old son.

The reaction is always a strong one regardless of who I am speaking to.

Some break into a broad smile – awestruck at the realization that I am one of the few willing to take on such a huge and important responsibility. Others literally shrink back in horror – wondering how I could be such an irresponsible parent.

Obviously those in the first group know someone who homeschools or knows something about it. And, just as obviously, the people in the second group know very little or have only heard about a bad example.

When I shared the information about being a homeschool parent with the Headmaster of a highly regarded private school, his response was, “Never stop. It is the best possible education a child can have.” A public school teacher shared with me her philosophy: “The early grades are O.K. in our public schools, but by 4th grade you need to pull them out.” These are professional educators and they believe that homeschooling is not only a wise choice, but often the best one.

Individuals who judge it as a bad choice without knowing the facts sometimes make it difficult for those of us who have made this monumental life decision.

Why Families Choose to Homeschool

There are as many reasons why families choose to homeschool as there are homeschool families. Numerous studies have tried to figure it out. “Why did you start homeschooling?” is a common question we ask one other.

Some discussed it, studied it in depth, and made the decision long before the child was born. A fair percentage make the choice for religious reasons. Sometimes the homeschooling decision is made because the child is having a difficult time socially or academically in public school. Many choose to homeschool because they can’t afford a good private school and, in their opinion, public school is simply out of the question.

It is not an easy decision to make and definitely not one that is taken lightly. It requires constant time, energy, money, commitment, adaptability, change, and rarely any time off on the part of the parent. For many, it means that one parent dedicates themselves to being a full time educator while the other brings in all the income for the family. In today’s economy, that can be quite a challenge.

I personally made the decision to become a homeschool parent because I wanted to ensure that my child received a good education without compromising his happiness, self esteem, sense of individuality, natural creative talent, or curiosity. Those are the primary concerns of most of the homeschool parents I know.

Homeschool families don’t fit into some easy to define demographic. We come in all shapes, sizes, religions or lack of religions, income ranges, and ethic backgrounds. The methods we choose to educate our children are as diverse as we are.

Manifesting Tip

I'm sure you've heard it before: Let the Universe (what I call the Divine Presence) know what you want - the end result or goal. And don't try to figure out the "how."

Trying not to figure out the "how" with your logical mind is very important. But knowing how is fundamental to your successful manifestation. O.K., first I said don't try to figure out how and then I said you must know how. Isn't that a contradiction?

No.

Your logical mind is limited and is stuck in the fear or limiting belief pattern that is keeping you from having, being, or experiencing what it is that you desire. So you, all on your own, trying to figure out "how" to manifest what you want is pretty useless.

But, when you ask the Divine Presence to give you the "how," truly miraculous things can happen. So, ask to be shown how to manifest what you want.

LAYING THE NEW FOUNDATION AND THE MEANING OF OUR STORE-FRONTS

Greetings!

Like aftershocks following a massive earthquake, we have experienced several minor shifts in the weeks following the solstice and full moon, and even since the last energy alert of July 1. As more and more souls catch up and find themselves in very new energetic spaces, this creates another shift of unity and cohesion, and thus, another awesome shift of a positive feeling nature occurs as we suddenly begin to feel as though more is settling in.

Yes, we are settling in now, if even in small and continuous steps. Re-connecting is the theme and purpose now, and until we find ourselves re-connecting to a fair degree, the road can seem rocky, unpredictable, scary, out of sync, strange, confusing and nonsensical, and perhaps even grossly uncomfortable as we do not seem to know where we are or what is going on around us and within us.

This last energy upheaval of the June 21st time frame reminds me of the Big Bang theory of evolution. I really know nothing of physics and these types of things, so please bear with me. What is occurring now is something similar to the Big Bang if one were to read the current energies of late. These energies of June blew just about everything out of the water or out of its old groove so that much could begin again. This is what is causing the stress, insecurity, confusion, and nonsensical feelings many of us are experiencing. After we have separated and spread out as far as we can go (and some are still spreading out), we can then connect once again.

In this way, we may find that our loved ones and those near and dear to us are leaving and going somewhere else. It may seem that we are being permanently separated from those with whom we have shared the closest connections. It may seem like much of everything is “going away” and that our lives have completely broken down and fallen apart (along with ourselves!). The separation needs to occur, as we need to find out who we really are, we need to re-connect to our true and authentic selves, we need to connect to Source more fully, and thus, establish a new and stronger re-connection with our foundations. (Some may not need to re-connect at all, but are simply waiting and respecting the re-connection experience of others, if even at a soul or subconscious level.)
