
Healthy Passion
Becoming physically fit and healthy is so much easier if
you can find an exercise activity that you are passionate
about. In fact a healthy passion is a fundamental component
required for good health.
If you want energy to flow in your body and your life, then
you must move your body.
If you sit in your car, at the office, on the couch, then
the energy has no reason to move through.
When you move your body, it opens the energy channels for
health, creativity, happiness, even financial abundance.
Why do you think that Chi Kung masters can be much more effective
energy healers than a Reiki Master? It is because the Chi
Kung practitioner consistently does exercises to keep the
energy channels open and flowing - therefore allowing much
more energy to move through them to the client.
There is the perfect form of movement or exercise for everyone.
Raven began swimming when he was eleven. It changed his life.
He went from a pudgy boy with husky pants to the buff guy
he is today in a very short time. Eventually he achieved such
a level of ability that he competed at the national level
in Canada.
Then he saw a Bruce Lee movie.
He studied all sorts of martial arts systems, got black belts
in several, and now teaches. It is definitely an exercise
passion.
If you think that life is supposed to be a spectator sport,
then you are mistaken.
You can't leave it up to someone else to make you healthy
or fit.
My son, Jess is very physically active, jumps on the trampoline
often, goes on long hikes with his dad, runs like the wind,
and is now involved in two of his dad's favorite sports: martial
arts and swimming.
He is already the fastest swimmer in his class and loves
to dive. I think he would live in the deep end of a pool if
that was possible. When swimming lessons are over he begs
me to take him swimming again that day.
What about me?
It is a toss up. I don't know which I love the most - dancing
or in-line skating.
Dancing happens more often and its been a passion since I
was three years old. I was the best in my class and even now,
put on a good tune and I'm moving to the rhythm.
However, give me a smooth surface and I literally become
euphoric as I glide across on my skates. I love to go fast.
I love the wind and the feeling of flight and freedom.
So, get out there. Try lots of sports and exercises classes.
Find something that is absolutely and completely your passion.
Then do it consistently. Your body and your health will thank
you for it.
